How It Works
ATHX is a 2.5-hour continuous fitness competition across six zones, with one set challenge designed to test every aspect of fitness and push you to the next level.

Warm-Up Zone
A dedicated space to mobilise, activate, and get competition-ready before stepping onto the ATHX floor.

Strength Zone
Where a true test of strength awaits, get ready, lock in, and start lifting.

Refuel Zone
A place to recover, rehydrate, and recharge so you're ready for what's next.

Endurance Zone
This workout will challenge your engine with sustained, high-output work that tests your stamina and grit.

Recovery Zone
Your space to reset and recharge, with the latest recovery tech so you're ready for the final push.

MetCon X Zone
A workout built to put your functional fitness to the test and leave it all on the Comp Floor.

By Car
You'll find the NEC clearly signposted from all motorways and major routes including the M42, M40 and M6 - just pop B40 1NT in your sat nav to get close, then follow the signs when you see them. When you arrive at the NEC, look out for signs for SiD/ATHX. After parking, simply jump on the free shuttle bus, or take a leisurely stroll along the signposted footpaths.
By Train
You won't even need to brave the elements. Direct services run all day, however if you're travelling from further afield you may need to catch a connecting train at Birmingham New Street, which is less than a 15-minute journey away. By Bus & COACH
From Birmingham Airport you can get to the NEC via the free air-rail link, which takes just 90 seconds and runs every two minutes. Jumping on a bus in the West Midlands area? There are numerous options that will get you to the NEC. Check out the Network West Midland website to plan your journey
